What is a Thali?

A thali is a traditional Indian meal served on a single platter — a curated selection of dishes designed to provide balance, variety, and a complete dining experience in one sitting. At Mantra, every thali is 100% plant-based and composed around the day's freshest produce.

A typical Mantra thali

Dal of the day, two seasonal vegetables, basmati rice, fresh roti, pickle and papad, and a vegan dessert. Sometimes a chaat to begin or a kheer to close.

How the menu changes

Our chef curates each day around what's freshest at the market and the regional tradition that fits — Punjabi one day, Gujarati the next, sometimes a South Indian spread on the weekend.
